Services:

Psychotherapy & counseling services involve much more than psychology and the study
of the human mind. The services I provide, ultimately are psychological in nature, but are
drawn from a great breadth of human experience. Not everyone has been satisfied with
the range of counseling opportunities described in the directories and websites they have
viewed. Some are looking for something else.

Below you will find descriptions of some of the services I provide. They may not all seem
psychological, but they are. They all involve therapy and ways by which people can make
things better for themselves and for the world in which they live. They all require the
astonishing power of the human mind and something else. Our question is, "What is that
something else and where can I find it?" It may not be where I thought I'd find it.
Psychotherapy

Long term,
contemplative,
& symbolic. In
psychotherapy, this is
where we get down the
heart of who we are.
Counseling &
Consultation

Sometimes just casual
talk, this may also
involve, planning, goal
setting, active follow
through, and assess-
ment of effectiveness.
Experiential

Assignment of new
experiences & follow
up discussions.
Resistance and
difficulties are
examined & insight is
discussed.
Behavior Therapy
for You

Not all changes require
you to be deeply
psychological. Solid
research supports a
mechanical change in
behavior. Simple as that.
Behavior Therapy
for Them

What you can do to
effectively change the
behavior of others.
Because face it, it isn't
always about you.
Affecting Change
Through
Language Change

The language we use
has an incredible
impact on how we
think, feel, and get
along with others.

The World Game

How we believe the
world works affects our
sense of place in it and
what we can do to
make it better. Based
upon the group work of
R. Buckminster Fuller.

Taming Emotions:
Mindfulness &
Meditation

Few of us would ever
want to get rid of our
emotions. Few of us
enjoy being at the mercy
of them though.
Learning to Learn

How to learn anything.
Specific techniques
are taught. Resistance
is examined.
Persuasion

Gaining cooperation.
Winning hearts &
minds.
Voluntary Controls

Exercises to help
memorization, process
speed, organization,
concentration,
relaxation, and
switching gears.
How to Be Normal

No matter how creative
we are, and no matter
how much we embrace
our individuality, it is
helpful to know how to
be "normal" if and
when we choose to.
Mediation Service

I can mediate nearly
anything. I am not an
enforcer however.
That's what attorneys
are for. There are
several I work with if
you need them.
Systems

From cars & computers,
ecology & economy,
personal psychology &
family dynamics.
Learning about systems
can bring insight into
how the world works.
Political & Social
Psychology

Political events &
social values can have
a profound affect on
who we are and how
we develop psycho-
logically as persons.
It Doesn't Have To
Be This Way

It can be that way. At
every turn, life offers us
opportunities to invent.
It has never been others
who've written the books
and manuals.
Back to the
Surface

Just because we look
good doesn't mean
we're not deep. Come
to terms with, and hone
the skills of being your
outward best.
Someone Ought
To Teach You
Some Manners

Seriously, good
manners go a long way
but many need a
practical and applied
refresher course.
"Mental Illness"

Don't buy it. If "mental
illness" has entered
your world, speak with
a professional who
doesn't buy it either.
Being sane in an
insane place is a very
hard place to be.
Mind By Design

Can the mind design
itself? Yes. It's as easy
as making rules and
breaking rules. Sure,
we can study the inner
architecture, but can
we engineer it? Yes we
can!
Learning To Be
Wrong More Often

There will always be
those who are critical
of us. Caring
too much
only gets in our way.
Learn to deal with
criticism and thrive.
