Easily Accessible: By bike, public transportation, or car

The #17 Tri-Met bus passes directly by.  The Portland Street Car will bring
you within 3 blocks coming in and 2 blocks going out.  If traveling long
distance on a Max line, you may need to combine this with the bus or Street
Car.  Highway I-405 will bring you into the neighborhood from either
direction.

Parking for cars:

There is free parking on the street.  Parking may be a bit challenging
however and you may wish to allow a few extra minutes to find a spot.  You
may also wish to consider parking on 20th or 19th Avenues or on one of the
side streets.  It is a very safe neighborhood to walk in and there are
restaurants, cafés near-by.

Coming on in & making yourself comfortable:

The building is a big gray house on the south side of the street half-way
between Johnson & Kearney streets.  It is directly across from Café Mingo.
Climb the brick stairs and at the top, you will see my name on a sign to your
left.  Go through the front door with "NW Counseling Center" written on it.
Inside, at the top of another flight of stairs, there will be a small sign
pointing to the waiting room.  Once there, please make yourself at home.
There is a curtain behind which you may help yourself to some water or a hot
drink.  There are magazines to read.  When it is time for us to meet I will
come out and meet you in the waiting room.  Next to the waiting room, you
will find the restroom.
